I've been told that jewelry photography is one of the toughest of all of the photo disciplines to get into.

I'm trying my hand at it to see what I can do.

I should have spent a bit more time on the chain and the setting, but I'm happy with a first attempt at the facets of the stone.

No significant post processing was done.
